Katherine began her yoga journey in the womb, before prenatal yoga was widely practiced. Many years later, both Katherine and her mom would complete their 200 RYT training together in Maine at the Shiva Shakti School of Yoga and Healing Arts. Katherine has been practicing yoga since college as a way to find balance and relieve stress. Asanas and Pranayamas continue to help her stay present, keep her in tune with her body’s needs, challenger her to her edge, and always remind her to not take herself too seriously. She loves to teach a thoughtfully balanced class that should both challenge you and allow you to honor your own needs on your mat. She looks forward to meeting you in class!
