Yoga Experience Specialist Lead (YES Team – Front of House & Studio Support)

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in students with warmth and efficiency

  • Provide excellent customer service and answer client questions

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment

  • Support day-to-day studio operations, including class setup and breakdown

  • Assist with retail sales, restocking, and inventory

  • Help with events and special classes as needed

  • Foster a positive and connected community vibe

General Manager

As General Manager (GM) at Soul Yoga, you will be responsible for elevating the guest experience, managing teaching and front-of-house teams, and leading operational excellence across both studios. You’ll work cross-functionally with directors, instructors, and team leads to develop and implement business strategies, optimize programming, and ensure a consistent and magical guest experience. This role involves overseeing all aspects of studio operations, coordinating teaching programs (e.g., workshops, retreats, 200/300TT), resolving escalations, creating and refining internal processes, and tracking key performance metrics to drive growth

Assigned Location

Team members will be based at either the Five Forks or Downtown studio based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance & Strategy

  • Lead YES team leads to hit revenue goals and align with Soul Yoga’s mission and values.

  • Monitor budgets, sales, and reporting.

  • Ensure team alignment with company mission, vision, and values.

Operations Management

  • Oversee merchandise, facilities, marketing compliance, and SYS standards.

  • Build community presence and local business relationships.

  • Audit inventory, cash handling, cleanliness, and shrink control.

Staffing & Employee Relations

  • Coach managers to develop high-performing teams.

  • Manage hiring, onboarding, promotions, and employee relations.
    Conduct teacher and staff reviews twice annually.

Customer Retention

  • Ensure consistent, high-quality class and event experiences.

  • Support teachers with schedules, coverage, payroll, and post-class check-ins.

  • Grow the member base by 25% and maintain churn below 5%.

  • Develop studio-specific customer retention tools.

Scheduling & Programming

  • Oversee workshops, trainings, and retreats (200/300TT, etc.).

  • Coordinate class schedules, contracts, and event pages.

  • Audit at least 4 classes per week to maintain quality standards.

Administrative & Reporting

  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to Owners/Directors.

  • Track inventory, branded gear orders, and event calendars.

  • Partner with Marketing on promotions, flyers, and web updates.

Community & Events

  • Organize holiday, anniversary, and community events.

  • Lead quarterly team meetings and strategy reviews.

Assistant General Manager

**Experience in the fitness industry is required**

As Assistant General Manager at Soul Yoga, you’ll focus on customer service, operational efficiency, and building connections with our community. The number one priority is Customer Service and to form connections with new and existing clients. Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations, support staff, and ensure an exceptional guest experience across our studios.

ASSIGNED LOCATION

Team members will be assigned to either the Five Forks Simpsonville or Downtown Greenville studio based on business needs and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience & Community

  • Prioritize guest satisfaction and foster strong client connections.

  • Support events, special projects, and community initiatives.

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily studio operations, including scheduling, cash handling, and cleanliness.

  • Manage retail inventory and ensure compliance with studio standards.

  • Track business objectives and identify opportunities for growth.

Team Leadership & Staffing

  • Supervise, hire, and train front-of-house staff.

  • Lead performance management and provide ongoing coaching.

  • Collaborate with the General Manager and team leads to maintain smooth operations.

Administrative & Reporting

  • Maintain clear communication with clients and team members.

  • Report directly to the General Manager and assist with director-assigned projects.

  • Support development and implementation of operational policies and programs.
