Katja Gross

Katja fell in love with yoga at 18, going to classes with her mom and her friends. A dancer all her life, movement was always a safe space and creative outlet. Yoga became that same comfort in her adult life. The community made her feel so welcomed—like she finally found her place in the world.

What started as a way to move and escape stress became her meditation, and the community became a second family. In college, she had a hard time making friends and finding her place. Yoga brought her to people with the kindness and positivity she was searching for. Plus, yoga is just so much fun!

She has her 200-Hour Power Vinyasa certification, with plans to pursue her Yin certification. Before Soul, she was a full-time student in Charleston and a nanny for several families in the Lowcountry. She’s always loved working with children and helping them grow. She also worked in fashion and event planning.

Outside of yoga, Katja is continuing her Bachelor’s in Business. She’s very close with her family and loves spending time adventuring together. Baking and anything ocean-related are her favorite hobbies. Yoga has totally transformed her life and helped her find love again within herself.
